What year did you start at Taber Company?

2013

What was your first position / job title at Taber Company? Estimator

What is your current position / job title at Taber Company? Estimating Manager

What do you like best about working at Taber Company?

The flexibility. When I started my kids were younger, so I was able to make their school functions and keep it all balanced.

When and where did you start your professional career? 2007 for another millwork company in Buena Park. They went out of business and that is what led me to Taber

How many years have you been working in this field?

14

How has the company supported your career goals?

Taber has allowed me to grow in the managerial position and has always been open to my ideas. I have been able to implement organization and processes in the estimating department that makes us a strong cohesive team.

What do you like most about TABER?

The family atmosphere. Everyone shares their life experiences whether happy or sad and everyone is so supportive. And of course, football is always a hot topic in the office. GO STEELERS!!

What was your best day at Taber Company?

I have a best day every year when I start Christmas decorating.

What accomplishment (at Taber Company?) are you most proud of?

Not so much as an accomplishment but knowing that after 8 years I still look forward to coming into work each day is a win. I love what I do. It’s never boring.

What project has had the biggest impact on you and why?

I would say it was Newport Beach Country Club. I was still fairly new to Taber, and it was my first million-dollar bid. To see it come to fruition was exciting and I felt like I was starting to make my contribution to Taber’s growth.

Who inspires you?

My mom and grandma.

If you could snap your fingers and become an expert in something, what would it be?

Not so much an expert but freezing time would be nice. Then there would be no late bids! (That’s the estimator in me talking.)

Get to know me..
