The “be awesome” personality of the workplace.

When and where did you start your professional career? 

1993 as a hand draftsman in my grandfather’s millwork company.

How many years have you been working in this field? 

28+ years

What colleges Universities, technical or other training have you attended? 

Fullerton College certificate program for cabinetmaking and drafting.

What degrees have you received and from where? 

None.

How has the company supported your career goals? 

Travis gave me the opportunity to be a Project Manager after a short time. I was then given the opportunity to help other PM’s as a Director.

What do you like most about TABER? 

The people, especially the man at the top! Brian’s leadership trickles down to all of us.

What was your best day at Taber Company? 

When Brian and Travis recognized my success as a Project Manager and then promoted me to Project Director.

What are your business / personal goals? 

Constantly improving, taking on bigger, more technical projects and continuing to help other succeed.

What accomplishment (at Taber Company?) are you most proud of? 

Completing the Edwards LifeSciences Café project.

What project has had the biggest impact on you and why? The Edwards LifeSciences Café project was so large in terms of the size and scope, I was intimidated. It showed me that regardless of size if you follow the same processes, stay involved and put in the work to make managing any project easy.

Any hobbies you would like to mention? 

Hiking, golfing, boardwalk biking and walking my dogs, Tilly and Roxy.

Would you recommend this as a place to work? If so, why? Yes, and I have! It’s the best all around to place to work.

Who inspires you? 

My beautiful wife, April.

Do you have any hidden talents? 

I can cook, do all my own car repairs and can do a few yo-yo tricks
